Steve
Alpert started his career as a court reporter in 1977 and worked
as a reporter for the Bronx District Attorney’s Office in the
major offense bureau and the Bronx Grand Jury. Steve began
teaching court reporting in 1978 at the Stenotype Institute and
has been teaching ever since at several schools and colleges
that offer training programs to court reporting students.
Additionally, Steve owned his own court reporting agency in
the New York area.
One
important tip that you should know as a student is to stay current
with what is going to be your future profession.
